BLS BORDEAUX BLS BIARRITZ
  • Lessons: 20 general French morning lessons
    + 4, 6, 8 or 10 private afternoon lessons per week
  • Levels: beginner to advanced (see levels)
  • Course begins: every Monday except for beginners (see dates)
  • Timetable: 9.30 to 12.45 with a 15 minute break, Monday to Friday
  • Private lessons: according to number of lessons chosen,
    generally from 14.00 to 15.30 or from 15.45 to 16.15
  • Duration: 1 week minimum with no time limit

General course objectives and methodology

  • the practice of spoken French in communicative situations and a cultural approach to the language
  • development of linguistic proficiency (written and oral expression / written and oral comprehension / interpersonal communication)
  • communicative methods combining individual development and group dynamics (group work, role plays, etc.)

Groupes

  • single-level groups, 8 to 12 (Bordeaux) or 14 (Biarritz) students maximum, ensure easy participation and a true group dynamic as well as individual attention from the teacher

Private lessons - objectives and methodology

  • broaden and reinforce acquired skills
  • work on cultural themes, chosen with the teacher
  • teaching approach is adapted to the student’s way of learning
